Hello and welcome, thank you for visiting my website and wanting to hear about me. I hope I can help.
I consider myself to be herbalist of the land, and the local expert of professional herbal medicine to my community.
First and foremost I see patients under consultation, helping to restore and maintain health using individualised prescriptions.
I provide workshops to local groups; I love to share my experience and knowledge of how to prepare and harness the power of herbs to help your friends and family for first aid and simple, self limiting complaints. Do contact me for details of forthcoming workshops.
I’m happy to come and talk to local groups too. I’ve talked to several WI groups, church groups, garden gatherings, and coffee mornings amongst others and can tailor a talk to your specific need if appropriate.
I am truly passionate about my work. I’ve always been interested in plants and get enormous joy from seeing people get better using herbal medicine.
There are many aspects that make me the herbalist I am today…
I am always learning. My patients and the herbs teach me something new every day and I am fortunate to have maintained busy practice since qualifying in 2005. This is what some of my patients have to say.
I am grateful to have been one of the last to train at the world renowned College of Phytotherapy and for my first class honours degree awarded by the University of Wales. I’m Interested in the history of herbal medicine too, my award winning dissertation concentrated on herbs used in the Anglo Saxon times.
I was so very privileged to also serve a herbal apprenticeship with Ralph and Evans in Canterbury during my training.
I love to attend the interesting and informative training courses to keep my skills up to date.
I give thanks every day for being able to use the wonderful plants that surround us.
